A simple tool for people who measure their blood pressure at home, whether on their own or because their doctor asked them to.
Record systolic and diastolic pressure, pulse and an optional note in a few taps.
Your readings are averaged using the home measurement method of the guideline for your region.
Optional reminders help you complete a full measuring week.
A free basic PDF report, or an extended one with charts and comparisons.
No server, no sign in, no analytics. Everything stays on your device and works without internet.
The app interface, reports and dates adapt to the language you choose.
A single reading says little. Blood pressure changes through the day, so guidelines ask for a series of home readings and look at the average.
Measure for 7 days, morning and evening. The first day is left out, because readings tend to run higher while you get used to measuring.
On first launch the app suggests a region based on your phone. You can change it anytime in your profile.
Enter each reading as you take it. Reminders help you keep the rhythm.
After the week, Sistovia compares your average with the home threshold of your region's guideline.
Medical societies around the world set slightly different limits for home readings. Sistovia uses the one that applies where you live.
| Region | Guideline | Home threshold | Measuring period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Europe | ESC 2024, ESH 2023 | 135/85 mmHg | 7 days, first day skipped |
| United States | AHA/ACC 2025 | 130/80 mmHg stage 2 from 135/85 | 7 days, first day skipped |
| Japan | JSH 2025 | 135/85 mmHg grades I to III | at least 5 days |
| China | Chinese guidelines 2024 | 135/85 mmHg two levels | at least 5 days |
Sistovia stores your raw readings. If you change your region, your whole history is recalculated with the new guideline.
Two warnings apply in every region, no matter which guideline you use.
Very high reading. From this value the app shows a clear warning and the emergency number for your region. If you feel unwell, call it.
Low reading. Below this value the app lets you know, so you can mention it to your doctor, especially if you feel dizzy or weak.
Both are created on your phone as a PDF and follow the guideline of your region. The pages below come from a sample diary of 25 days.
Every reading in one clear table, ready to print or send.

Sit quietly for a few minutes before measuring, with your back supported and feet flat on the floor. Put the cuff on your bare upper arm at heart level. Do not smoke, drink coffee or exercise in the 30 minutes before. Use a validated automatic upper arm device and follow the instructions from your doctor if they differ.
On the first day people are often a little tense about measuring, and readings tend to be higher. European and US guidelines therefore skip it and average the following days.
Readings at the doctor's office are usually higher than at home. Guidelines set separate, lower limits for home readings, which is why Sistovia only uses home thresholds.
Nothing is lost. The app keeps your original readings and recalculates your averages and results according to the newly selected guideline.
No. Sistovia records your readings and shows how they compare with published guidelines. Only a doctor can assess your blood pressure and decide on any treatment. Never change your medication based on the app.
Only on your phone. There is no account and no server, so we cannot see your readings. If you delete the app, the data is deleted too, so export a report if you want to keep a copy.
The app and the basic PDF report are free, with no ads. The extended report is a one-time purchase of 4.99 EUR, with a launch price of 2.99 EUR during the first 30 days after release. No subscription, no account. Your purchase is linked to your Google account, so it moves with you to a new phone.
